COMMUNITY SPORTS DAY

About the Camp

Athletic performance and mental focus are closely linked to what we put into our bodies. The Community Sports Day offers a comprehensive workout for youth football and basketball players at all levels of the game.

TWO CAMPS, ONE DAY!

Open registration for boys and girls. We provide individual and group skills training layered by professional athletes who share their wealth of experience from decades of playing in key positions to help young athletes achieve peak performance.

Special Guests – Pro Athletes

To combat the heat we provide superfoods, healthy hyper-nutrient supplements that serve as a convenient and refreshing way for the pro's use to support their fitness goals and stay hydrated throughout the day. You can contribute to support our youth camp by donating towards our "Try Harder" gift bags and t-shirts we give to each participant.

What Should I Bring?

Each participant is encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and sweat towel. Cleats and gym shoes are encouraged if participating in both camps.

What is Community Sports Day?

Welcome to the Orange Park Community Day Football Camp! We are excitedly preparing for a great day with our community and kids. EALK’s annual Community Sports Day is one of several programs we host annually to interact with area youth and coaches dedicated to enhancing performance, recovery, and overall fitness.
To assist us with scheduling the activities for the day, we would like for you to fill out the online registration/waiver form by clicking the button below. This effort will keep down the usual long line for registration the morning of the event. Each child will need a separate form if you are registering multiple camp participants.
Registration starts at 8am and the camp is from 9am -12pm. Please bring refillable water bottles, wear cleats if possible and be ready to gain some new skills!
Thank you for your participation,
Edward Keyes, Director

What is required to volunteer or sponsor?

We offer several options for participation as a Sponsor, Speaker, Vendor, or Volunteer for Community Sports Day.

Upon registration, we will add you to our website social media, and event promotions throughout the year. Contact our marketing director at (904) 728-5438 for more details about our Sponsorship packages.

Do you offer services for after school programs?

Our aim is to create a unique community participatory experience at every event we host. Our outreach is customized to cater to all ages, learning styles. We bring the energy and supplies, including booth display, sports equipment and accessories, and promo materials. We may request access to school/venue for up to 3-4 days per month (and/or preferably “game days”) to interface with students/participants. In partnership with Digipreneurship University, our online curriculum is culturally appropriate and tailored to offer remote technical assistance, online toolkit, administrative reporting and reporting on engagement and performance outcomes.

Recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) shows that in 2019, prior to the pandemic, roughly 33.2 million children received school meals, including about 21.3 million who received free school lunches.

In 2022, 735 million people—more than 9 percent of the global population—faced chronic undernourishment.

What does EALK mean?

The EALK is a symbol of strength, speed, endurance, and clarity. The mission of EALK is to significantly enhance the lived experience and memories of youths and families, with a particular focus on generational residents of Clay County/Green Cove Springs. Some of our long-standing initiatives include, the Annual Community Sports Day.

We believe all children have the right to feel safe and have access to quality education and health care. But to date, early childhood development has been not just under-recognized, but grossly underfunded. Our children are the builders of tomorrow. If we do not invest in the youngest children in our society, we don’t invest in our collective future.

Northeast Florida is a key destination to raise the next generation of professional athletes. Come out and test your mental and athletic skills to win a prize!
